You enjoyed our cooking competition and asked us to organize similar events in the future. Today, we’re proud to announce our 1st Annual Valentine’s Season Love Live! Competition!

Love letters & Live idols

Love letters & Live idols

A worldwide Valentine’s Day Love Live! writing + cosplay double competition

2018 edition

The season of love is here! In the Love Live! community, we have a lot of love to share, especially when it comes to idols. This lovely competition is open to everybody, and you will need to use your creativity to shine!

Love Letters

  • Write a love letter to your favorite idol.
  • The love letter has to be addressed to a Love Live! character. Supporting characters and Ns are allowed as well.
  • The letter can be from yourself or from a character of your choice.
  • Many formats are allowed: it can be a long or short text, which you may or may not illustrate with pictures and drawings, a video or audio where you read your love letter, etc. If you want to be creative and you’re not sure if we allow the format you plan to use, just ask.
  • There is no limit of how long or how short your love letter is. However, keep in mind that your efforts and creativity are what will make people vote for you!
  • You may use citations, but the majority of your letter must be your own creation.

Live Idols

  • Cosplayers and photographs are allowed to enter the competition. You have to either take the photo/video and/or be on the picture.
  • Cosplay as an idol and take a picture or a video reacting to receiving a love letter.
  • You may cosplay any Love Live! character, including Ns and supporting characters.
  • This competition is not limited to a specific gender. For example, if you identify as male and do not wish to cross-dress, you can cosplay as a male version of a character or your own character with inspirations from an existing LoveLive! character. Cross-dressing and gender-bender alternatives are of course allowed as well.
  • The way you react is up to you, but the action of receiving a love letter must be explicitly visible on the picture. You can use props.
  • The efforts you put in the cosplay itself are up to you. You can just wear a wig or wear an elaborated costume. Costumes don’t need to be hand made. However, keep in mind that your efforts and creativity are what will make people vote for you!
