Hello apparently I can't format but im working on it but this is my entry for the school idol cafe!! I wanted to recreate the cake from Valentine Yohane and Mari UR pair and this is what I managed to come up with! Hello! This is my entry for the school idol cafe 2018, I tried to recreate the cake seen in Valentine Yohane and Mari UR pair, and this is how it turned out~ Everything is 100% edible and homemade I took a lot of pictures during the baking process, and compiled them together in a few sections so the post wouldn't be too long-first of all the baking process! I made two chocolate cakes and sandwiched them together with a light chocolate buttercream, saving some for the edges to help the fondant to stick to it later on A few parts I had to think about what to use, and as much as I would have LOVED to make authentic tears of a fallen angel, the cake was being taken to work the next day and don't think everyone would have quite appreciated that aha. So instead I opted for some sweeter chocolate truffles The rest of the decorations are self explanatory from the pictures, the white chocolate house was made the same way as the bat, I sketched a design out and piped melted chocolate onto greaseproof paper layered over top it it, before placing them into the freezer to set. I really really love making fondant roses so i had a lot of fun with those, especially since the colours are so so pretty Since I forgot to include the name tag in the finished pic since I was so excited and a liiiittle nervous about taking the pictures, I hope its ok to include it here along with the cross section pictures The slice on its own! I added some of the decorations like how I would want to present it to someone Finally one last picture! I really hope that our fallen angel and shiny queen would be proud of this! I really wanted to enter last year but didn't have enough confidence, but this year i have had such supportive and lovely friends that I hope I did my best for them too! This was a lot of fun to make, so thank you for this opportunity!

Everything is 100% edible and homemade! I hope the pictures help to explain the process since I'm not the greatest with nice explanations ;; I'm really happy with how it came out overall, I wanted to enter last year but didn't have the confidence, but this year I have had really supportive and lovely friends to support me, so I did my best for them too! This was so much fun to make, thank you for the fun oppurtunity!
