I never thought I would be doing this, but here I am Its been such a long time since Ive wanted to celebrate the birthday of a fictional character but here I am writing this for the most beautiful girl Ive met on a long time and my love for her isnt gonna end soon it seems

Im talking about Kurosawa Ruby who at first was at the lowest of my list, as a lot of us, the more of the anime I watched, the more I fell in love. And even though Hanamaru is the one who is most like me physically, personality and background wise Ruby is more myself and is so hard to find characters who hit home in such an exact form, and when I find them they always are HATED, and just… that makes me so sad? Because all my fears of being hated come true when characters who are so similar to me get hated by basically all the fans regardless of how much they are trying their best to be a good person

But lets not get out of track here, lets go back to Kurosawa Ruby. And the things that make me love her a lot.

— Her Shyness/Social anxiety + her growth

Now, I know a lot of people who are extroverts and tend to hate people who are extremely anxious, but as someone who is really afraid of people and just thinking of talking to them at a store or something terrifies me, how Ruby acts at the start of the anime so scared and afraid of everything really make me consider if how everyone hated her for it or made fun of her, if people do that to me. Also, something that bothers me is that everyone says that the anime didnt have character development, but at least, I, see how Ruby goes from being afraid of everything and searching for Dia or Hanamaru or anyone to help her, to the episodes with Leah and Sarah and she deciding by HERSELF to help and getting help to only support what she was planning, and that scene where she and Leah are asking the people of the event to let her perform? How she backs and reverts to her old self? But at the same time she remembers how shes changed and now can do everything without help? Yeah, what a model. Everytime I need to talk to someone or do something that I block and can do it, I remember that scene, take a deep breath and motivate myself to do my rubesty

— Dia/Ruby relationship

Other thing that I really like about her is the sibling relationship with Dia, because, I have a big sister who is basically the perfection to my family and doesnt matter what I do Im the clumsy and kinda useless little sister. As to what Ruby basically is portrayed as. But you know what? Ruby shows how even though she could never be as "perfect" as Dia, she still gets to show how she is good with other things. And that rebellious phase she is where she cut her hair and doesnt dress or act like the perfect lady they both are supossed to be? What a perfect girl, you go baby. Also, as other point to this one, how Dia is so worried for Ruby, as Ruby is for Dia is such a cute thing, as you always see the sisters hating each other, or one being jealous of the other, you get how Ruby admires and wants to be realiable as Dia, while still being her own self, and I find that really beautiful, because that means how even though she isnt perfect, still wants to become better for herself and for everyone who might look up to her.

— Her voice

Maybe Im not a big fan of high pitched voices (thats a lie because half of my music collection are nightcores), but in some songs I find Ruby's voice so cute and really in a nice tone? Honestly, where she most shines is Sky journey, Manatsu wa dare no mono, and every CYaRon song, specially Yozora wa nandemo aa shiteru no and Setsugou byebye

— Her design I just really think she has a great design, and in most (for not saying ALL) of her cards she is always cute and cool (just like the punk rock UR)

I drew myself with Ruby because I love her, and since I cant edit, at least I can try to draw

Also, my pulls werent the best ones, but she blessed me with her rock punk UR!

After that, I sold a Rin UR (im so sorry Rin fans, but she was a healer and didnt had a use for her in my teams), so I could idolize my favorite idol!

And after that I did a blue coupon and got Autumn Dia who wanted to celebrate her sisters birthday too, forgot to screenshot that moment, but heres Dia idolized, since I already had her,

And just basically, Ruby is best girl, and I love her, like a fucking much, shes my daughter and I swear to god if i see hate to her again im going to die
