(Long post ahead, beware!)

Happy birthday, Ruby! Oh wow, I'm not even sure where to start. Funny, I've been preparing for this for months now and I still can't even put my thoughts and feelings about Ruby into words. First things first, happy birthday to my best girl throughout all of love live! I have loved Ruby since I first got into sif, which was over a year ago. Which makes this my second year celebrating Rubys birthday! Fun fact, last year I drew Ruby for her birthday!

Not much has changed since then, except my love for her. Over this past year, I've found more and more reasons to love her. Seeing her character development in season two made me so happy. Personally, Ruby reminds me quite a bit of myself, that's why I felt so close to her at first. She was a shy, timid girl at first and I've always been like that unfortunately. I could relate to her having to ask her sister for help all the time. When she gained the confidence to perform a song with Leah, it made me feel so happy and I felt like I could easily take after her. Seeing somebody so similar to me, do things she never thought she could, just brought me a lot of happiness. She's helped me gain my own confidence over this year, and I'm so thankful. Without her, I don't think I'd be able to do the things I can today. If I ever need motivation to do something, I just need to think about Ruby. I just need to remind myself that she would want me to gain the confidence to do it, just like she did! It's little things like just thinking about her that can help me get through anything. She will always be a major comfort character for me, and I'm just thankful to call her my best girl.

Unlike other people, I don't have very much merch quite yet. I am planning on starting an ita bag, but I haven't gotten to that yet. But still, I'm very proud of the few things I do have! I take pride in these things and consider myself lucky to even have them.

I bring my neso with me almost everywhere, so I can always have her cheering me on! I even brought her with me to the Roselia dv I went to last week. I hope even with the few pieces of merch I have, that she can still see the massive love I have for her!

Instead of having tons of merch to be proud of (which I still am proud of what I have, and if you have tons you're still valid), I tend to focus more on my accomplishments within sif itself! I've been playing for over a year, so I do take pride in the cards I have collected. That includes my Ruby cards!

As you can see above, cheerleader Ruby was my first ever Ruby SR! I see getting a card of a best girl an accomplishment, which is why I was so happy! I'm so so proud of having that card, as it started my official collection!

Another thing I'm proud of, is having her title! I worked very hard to get enough cards of her to form a team, and it payed off!

Now onto more recent scouting moments! I've never gotten a Ruby UR before since she doesn't typically come home. So when the UR packs came out, I knew I had to buy it and try for a Ruby one! I would've been happy with any UR, but of course I had one in particular that I wanted. Which of course, was Punk Rock Ruby, my dream UR! I wasn't expecting to actually get it, but I guess as a thank you for spending money, she decided to bless me with it!

I was so happy. I knew I would get a Ruby UR either way, but I didn't expect her to bless me like that! It felt as if she finally returned the love I have for her. But it doesn't stop there! I did her step ups yesterday and she blessed me again!

First pull, she gave me an SSR! And one of my favorites at that! Thank you, Ruby.

Second pull, four SRs! Animal Ruby, which happens to be an all time favorite card! And an idolizable new years Ruby! Thank you again!

Third and final pull, and she gave me my dream UR again!! She really ended the step ups with a bang! I'm so happy that I got to idolize my dream Ruby UR!

To some, getting a UR of your best girl twice, might not seem like a big deal. But this was my first time actually pulling a Ruby UR that I wasn't guaranteed to get! That's why its such a big deal to me. To see the UR envelope come out, and to see Ruby...It all made me really really happy! Another fun fact, I spent about 300 gems trying to get Punk Ruby back when she came to EN. So to finally get her twice, it was just an amazing moment for me. Thanks to the scouts, I can make a full Ruby team, and almost a full smile team!

I have so much more I'd love to say, but I should wrap it up. To end this off, I just wanna say one more thank you to Ruby. I love you more than you can imagine, and you mean the whole world to me. Thank you for bringing me comfort and confidence when I've always needed it most. I'm so glad to have spent a whole year with you, and I can't wait to spend more with you, too! I'll always love you, and I hope this message reaches you! Thank you, once again.
