Today is our precious Wooby’s birthday! So everybody Do Your Rubesty! Yeey! Chibi art made by me! I think Ruby’s subunit outfit is super pretty?!

I must admit that I’m not good with words, but since this is my precious daughter’s birthday, I’ll try my best! I remember when I first watched LL! Sunshine Ruby didn’t catch my attention at first, I thought she is going to be the „loli” girl because every anime needs a loli girl nowdays, but then with the story slowly progressing I totally fell in love with her character! I love to watch her interactions with other characters, because she is the little angel of Aqours and you can see how much everybody cares about her. I find this really cute! Especially with Dia, I mean, of course, they are sisters, but you can see how deeply they love each other. The thing about siblings is that they are always there, you can always rely on them. You can see this in Dia and Ruby’s sibling relationship, too. But I was so happy when in season 2 Ruby was able to become more independent. The thing I like the most about Ruby is her growth. We can see her going from „PIGII!” to confidently standing beside the other girls of Aqours. She is also a great friend! Hanamaru especially was inspired by her to be a school idol. She wants the best for her friends and tries to understand and help them, never leaving anybody behind! It’s the same with Leah in season 2. Even though they are supposed to be rivals, she tried to help and understand her. She is definitely one of the most stylish members of Aqours, maybe because she can sew well. Which is another plus point from me , because my mom is a seamstress and I might become one someday. I have really precious memories of helping my mom, and I headcanon that Kurosawa mom teached Ruby how to sew! You can sense her dedication everytime she is on screen! You can see how hard she actually works to be an idol! Even in the intro of Happy Party Train she is practicing! She is much more serious than others might think.

When we talk about Aqours and Love Live in general I think we shouldn’t forget about the voice actresses! Ruby is not Ruby without Furihata Ai’s gorgeous voice! I find her dedication incredible! She even dyed her hair red, omg! She works so hard for us, so we can experience „Ruby” in real life. Her voice is also beautiful! (I’ll fight anybody who says otherwise because I’m sure Aiai tries her best and it’s not f-ing easy to sing in such a high-pitched voice like Ruby’s) This one is for you queen Aiai!
