Happy Birthday to my best girl forever, Kotori Minami!

Let’s start at the beginning, I first found out about Love Live from someone who made a cover on Youtube, since I really love music I decided to give the anime a try. Now I have always been that type of person who won’t enjoy a game/show if I don’t get completely obsessed with one character. So when I first saw Kotori it was love at first sight and she has always been my best girl!

There is lots of reasons why I love Kotori so I'll try my best to explain them all!

-Kotori helped me interact with the fandom and start singing again!

I've always been a shy person but I wanted to meet other people who shared the same love for Kotori as I do. So eventually I started posting some things and was talking to new people. I also saw that people were starting LL cover groups. Of course I was very nervous to join them at first, but I'm glad I did! I've met so many amazing people and it helped bring back my passion for singing again! Shout out to my babes from @Wisteria and BlossomHEART!

-I can relate to her personality!

Kotori’s always very caring, kind, and puts others feelings before her own which is something I do often. But the most relatable thing to me is the fact she also has troubles making decisions for herself. That’s something I struggle with all the time because I just want everyone else to be happy.

-I learned how to edit and be more open with sharing things!

Because of Kotori/idolsona’s I started making Love Live edits, I wasn’t very good at first but I improved a lot when I was making edits of me and Kotori last year! I also started sharing more artsy things with my friend and even drawing a little more often!

-Her voice!

I know lots aren’t a big fan of high pitched voices but I also have one so of course I love Kotori’s a lot! It’s really amazing how her voice can be super cute but also sound really beautiful. Some of my favorite Kotori solo’s are Angelic angel, Unbalanced Love, Sunny day song, No exit orion and Kaguya no Shiro de Odoritai.

-Her design is very unique!

Out of all the girls I find Kotori’s the most recognizable because of her adorable loop-pigtail hairstyle! Besides I think it fits with her sweet personality nicely! If I had longer hair I’d totally attempt to do it haha

-Her amazing talent for sewing!

Kotori is extremely talented at sewing, think about all the amazing outfits she’s made for Muse’s performances! Personally I’d also like to think Kotori makes all the SIF sets too! So let’s thank Kotori for her hard work and dedication for sewing all the beautiful outfits!

-Her love for alpacas is precious!

Little short story, a year ago I went to a petting zoo and I was kind of afraid to pet most of the animals. Then I saw an alpaca.. I just knew I had to feed it cause Kotori would, after that I was finally able to enjoy myself.

Since I can’t really draw, instead I’ve been slowly learning how to put together MMD models and videos! I decided to push myself and make some stuff for Kotori’s birthday!

I have to admit, it took me awhile just to think of a song I should pick! But then I remembered Uchida sang Senbonzakura and that’s exactly what I chose! I love playing Sims 3 and also made Muse on it some time ago, so of course I had to celebrate Kotori’s birthday on there! (That’s my sim giving Kotori a present hehe)

Here’s my very much treasured merch of best girl, it’s not a huge shrine yet, but it's slowly growing overtime! Recently we actually got an anime store in the mall and when I saw some Kotori merch I was internally screaming. I’d also like to shout out some amazing friends @Merci &@Kxnoe They got me the amazing Kotori solo cd+pin while on their vacation in Japan! And of course my best friend Abbyeon who got me the after school figure and those Kunoichi muse cards! ily!

I've been playing SIF since June 2016! Over that course of time I've had some pretty memorable moments. So here's my top three personal best sif stories! (All having to do with Kotori of course <3)

First time getting a Kotori ur!

I'll never forget the time I got my first Kotori ur, it was around a year or so ago. I was on a live stream with some friends and a 2nd years box was out. I was thinking I should scout cause all I wanted was one Kotori ur before saving for her bday. My friend put up a “Kotori plz come home” on stream, I used 200 gems already but got some really great pulls! Then all the sudden I decided to let my cat scout and out pops Snowy Mountain Kotori! I was screaming and crying so hard my mom thought something bad happened. haha

Saving up 1,000+ gems (last year)

After I got Snowy Mountain Kotori I started saving for Kotori's bday box! I ended up somehow saving 1,000+ gems! Honestly I'd probably never save that many again unless for a limited ur, but cheers to whoever else has that much patience!

- I sold 3 ur's for my dream ur

Last little story is I actually decided to sell three ur's for Cop Kotori. Although later I pulled her from a blue ticket haha.

I’ve always had the goal of getting every single Kotori card! Since I’ve been scouting in rate boxes for certain cards, my album is actually coming along really nicely! Here’s my Kotori collection so far! (before scouting) Time for the actual scouts! Even though I've been scouting so much in side boxes this year, I still managed to save 500+ gems! I'm honestly just hoping for new cards and if possible one of the limited Kotori urs.
