when i first got into love live, i was convinced i would like maki. had i played sif first i feel like i would've like maki more, but since i had issues with my phone connecting to the internet, i settled for watching the anime until we got better internet that my phone would connect to. from the very first episode, the very first time i met honoka kousaka, i knew she was the one. i always had a fondness for main characters, their optimism spoke to me in ways i couldn't explain. honoka was probably the most enthusiastic optimist i'd seen in a while. she made my heart flutter. i was going through a rough time when i was getting into the franchise, her happiness made me forget about that sometimes.

once i began love live, the first set i set my heart on was cyber. i joined during job v2, so i had very little time to save between my first ever pull and honoka's ur (thankfully was released second). i didn't get her in the 11 scout i did, but i didn't give up. every time i had 5 gems i soloed in an attempt to get her. during this time between events, i was moving from colorado to california. the first day i spent in california i spent sick, yet i still tried in hopes of getting her. despite my low chances, i finally got her that day from a solo. my first ur being my dream ur of my best girl was probably the best way to keep me playing.

the first event i ever tiered was momotarou honoka, it was kind of a last minute decision that in the end kind of ruined my right wrist for a few months but i wouldn't give the world for it. the picture was taken by my friend, but i'm right under her in this. this was 5 seconds before the event went down.

soon, seal idolization was announced and i began to collect n seals. i didn't scout often enough at the time to get s seals, so n seals were my way to go. it took me about a year, but i was finally able to idolize her.

i scouted for her birthday box and was blessed with her initial ur on my final step up, a few months later i tried to get her ice cream ur and isntead got her cheerleader ur from a bt, and my most recent of her's came after the free scouts we got on ww when i was upset about a bad pull and did a step, just for snowy mountain honoka to pop out.

honoka has been a constant in my life, through my horrible home situations and the constants of moving, honoka has been there for me. i got into muse late so merch of her hasn't been an easy thing to come across, but my friends and family have been really nice and have given me some merch of her.
