Kasidis (Ken) Arunruangsirilert's Numazu and Uchiura photo essays
While searching for news on Numazu and Uchiura, we came across an amazing set of photo essays extensively documenting a student's trip to the seaside area that plays backdrop to the entire Love Live! Sunshine!! series. This set of actual locations (IRL) compared to screencaps from the anime is notable not just because of how extensive it is, but because it includes maps, helpful advice, and dashcam videos of driving around between locations.
There are five photo essays in total. Before going further, here they all are:

Here's a handful of photo samples from the photo essay series. The ones in the posts are high quality, and numerous. Please go there to see them all.

The author is a young person from Thailand who is an enthusiastic computer programer. Their Medium biography reads: "A kid who is passionate in programming. Mentioned on Bangkok Post as “Youngest software developer”." Kasidis (Ken) Arunruangsirilert asked that in addition to his bio, that we link to their 500px.
When we emailed Ken for permission, and to see if they had any additional things they'd like to share with Sukutomo members. They sent the following response:
Thank you for your email. First of all, I can share the clip from my car dashcam (entire trip) if you want. For the travel method, I would recommend anyone going to rent a car because you really need to drive a lot.
For Nagaisaki Junior High school (Uranohoshi Girl Highschool), please don't enter because it's a private property. Entry without permission will seriously get you in troubles. For Kurosawa house, I was lucky that the owner invited me in to visit their house. If the owner is not there, the rule is simple, do not enter.
If possible, visit there around april and you have a higher chance of get it right during the full bloom of sakura, plus the weather is nice and cool, so it's kind of easier to walk around and enjoy the city. Lastly, get a good DSLR to take good photos. The town is very far and hard to get to, especially Uchiura. So, it's best to get good photos with a good camera.
Please check out their Numazu and Uchiura photo essays series, and leave postive comments, and/or questions on their Medium post.
