I just want to appreciate this picture for a bit.

Now it's very obvious that this semi-circle is suppose to go by year right? First the 3rd years, then the 2nd years, finally the 1st years. Nico is a 3rd year so she's supposed to be with Nozomi and Eli. Instead, she practically forced herself in the first year spot so her and Maki can hold hands. Nico knows what she wants and she gets it.
