In defense of lack of uniform customization:

Lots of people love the customization in Niji and want it for the other generations, but it finally clicked for me that they have a clear narrative purpose because Niji are solo idols and they literally need to stand apart from each other, whereas Muse, Aqours and Liella are groups that need a level of cohesion and unity to show that they belong together.

We can easily see that with a direct comparison between Touou Academy which has a similar uniform to Liella and went wild with customization in the second N-round and which had exactly 5 cards with uniforms, and Liella itself - if you imagine them on a stage, one is more scattered and chaotic, one is a group
