Today I felt like starting the year expanding Spells Garden's univers a bit, even if it's not really an expansion but more like a fun fact and it's not even related to SG- Anyway, here's today subject, I think I've talked about her in only one post but here she is:

"This girl's name is Mei Segawa, this picture was taken at the time she was 16 years old at the peak of her idol career as the leader of Tear Drop Fantasy, the most popular idol group 20 years ago. This group gathered fans all across Japan and became really popular in a very short time thanks to their soft and delicate music, maintaining its popularity for 5 years when Mei decided to graduate to continue with her studies. Shortly after this, Tear Drop Fanatasy decided to finally disband and their old fans still remember them with lots of love and nostalgia.

The leader, after retiring from idol work, started going to college and, shortly after graduating, got married with one of her classmates and, since she adopted her husband's family name, she became Mei Aratani. The couple had two daughters, but Mei didn't expect that her youngest daughter ended up being fascinated with her mom's work after seeing some old recordings of a Tear Drop Fantasy performance and that she then decided to follow her steps, creating the group Amulet with her old sister and their childhood friend".

As you can see, she's Sachi's and Mana's mother, I would say that this is how she looked when she was young but she hasn't really changed and people still recognizing her very easily. In terms of personality, she's as silent and collected as Sachi but also as loving and touchy-feely as Mana. Also, both girls are very similar to their mom but Sachi even tried to imitate her haircut (or at least she tried-) so that's why she looks much more similar to her than Mana does. I think that's all, I've been trying to expand on my OCs families lately and since their mom was an idol too, I thought it would be fun to draw her at least once.
