It's been a while, but here I am again, baking for a cute yet nonexistent anime girl >~< I don't think I'll win this year, but I figured I should show her some love anyway (and tbh I'm still a little upset I never got the prize for winning 2 years ago so maybe I'll be lucky).

Little recap on why I love Yoshiko as I have gushed about her before: I love chuunibyo in general, that whole cringey stage of life is relatable, and she honestly rocks it. I do love the insecure part of her too, and it makes me really happy to see her be vulnerable with her friends. I think the reason why she keeps the persona is because she's insecure and doesn't know who she is or how to act normally which I relate to a lot. You can tell she spent a lot of time by herself and has a disconnect from people and society. Although I think the fallen angel thing is a coping mechanism, I still think it's brave of her to be what she feels is herself out in public like that. I also love seeing her be a big edgy nerd. This isn't even taking into account her aesthetic appearance (her hair is even my favorite shade of blue) and her ASTOUNDING voice. I cry every time I hear her solo in Kimi no Hitomi o Meguru Bouken. She is true waifu material which is defined by me as "A precious anime girl that I would actually go out of my comfort zone to hug if given the chance with her permission."

Alright, onto my crappy submission!!

I made a strawberry-strawberry cake this year, and it actually came out pretty well thanks to some help from Hoshino ^.^ Strawberry cake with buttercream frosting, strawberries in the middle, and chocolate covered strawberries on top (and the little black sprinkles are bats, though you can't see them well). I still can't take good pictures, so I compiled them all into one big trashy picture. I wanted to do more, I actually made a plan for something else, but I think I'll save it for the baking competition in a few months if that's held again (I'm too depressed, tbh, and I'm surprised I even did this much).

I also figured I should add a picture of my growing shrine for her- I'm REALLY proud of my ita bag so far, I even got a compliment on it at my last convention. There's only the one picture because I don't want this post to be too long, but there's a bit more beneath the designated Yohane Shrine Shelf.

And finally, my account collection. I have 59/75 so far, so I'm doing pretty well in collecting her with minimal spending as I am now a broke college graduate. I managed to get her birthday UR this year without worrying about it, so I feel so blessed >~<

Happy birthday, Yo(hane)shiko. I love you, babe.
